Clean your new First pot or pan by adding water, heating the water to the boiling point. Discarding the water. Rinse the pan and let it dry.

The most desirable steaming method for First cookware is waterless cooking or using very little water. For boiling or steaming, put food in the pot before placing the pot on the cooking surface. Use medium heat, and cover the pot with the lid. Before the food cooks, just remove the pot from the stove or turn off the stove. The food will finish cooking - a special property of First cookware that other products do not offer.

Put oil in the pan, filling it no more than half full. Heat on medium               heat until the oil is the proper temperature for frying. Notice the               hot oil will not produce waves or lines. Put your food in the hot oil               until it becomes brown or well cooked. Once your food begins to               turn brown, you may turn off the stove and the food will continue               to cook, turning crispy and not oily.

Pour the oil in the pan. Use medium heat. When the oil is hot, place               the food in the pan and fry.

Use low heat with chili, onion, garlic, etc.

             - Bacon: Put bacon in the pan. Use medium heat and the bacon                will not curl up.
             - Pancakes, ham, eggs, and burgers: Pour the oil in the pan and                let it spread over the surface. Use medium heat and fry the food.

Put the food on a foodplate or heat-resistant plate. Sprinkle the              food with a little water, then place the foodplate in the pan.              Pan steaming can save half your normal cooking time. For example,              steaming fish normally takes about 15 minutes but with a First pan,              you can keep the heat on for only about 7 minutes. Keep the lid              closed. Turn off the heat and the fish will continue cooking.

Soak vegetables in the water before putting them in the pan. Place              in the pan and cover. Heat with medium heat. The cooked              vegetables will have a fresh and natural taste.

You can use your First pot or pan to cook desserts. The First              pan will not splash when you stir the food.

Abrasive scouring pads should never be used to clean First cookware. These pads will scratch your cookware. Do not add salt (or salty fish sauce) to your cookware when it is cold. Add salt or fish sauce only when the food is hot or when the liquid is boiling. If salt is improperly added to First cookware, it can cause white surface spots.

Use only medium or low heat when you are cooking with First cookware. High heat should only be used to boil water.

If food sticks on the surface, clean it off quickly and thoroughly because the residue will cause hot spots and make the food burn too.

If some foods stick badly, pour a little water into the pot or pan and warm it up a bit. Leave the pot cool slightly until the remnants come off and use dish cleaner to clean it.

Use First stainless steel cleaner to make it shine after the cookware cools down.

After cleaning, wipe your First cookware with a dry cloth to keep your cookware beautiful and shiny.
